Our Impact

The impact of our interventions extends far beyond the classroom. Our interventions address environmental challenges by reducing e-waste and cutting down greenhouse gas emissions but also significantly enhances the quality of education. In addition, by providing essential scientific equipment, we empower teachers to adopt more effective, interactive teaching methods and enable students to engage in hands-on learning, thereby improving their understanding and skills in STEM fields. However, the disparity in access to these resources, particularly in rural and under-resourced areas, highlights the need for a collaborative effort to ensure equitable opportunities for all students, ultimately fostering a more inclusive and prosperous future for the continent.

Impact on the Environment

Donating used electronics and laboratory equipment to schools in Africa not only diminishes UK e-waste but also carries substantial environmental benefits. This practice can potentially cut down greenhouse gas emissions in the UK by an estimated 1.5 million tonnes of CO2 equivalent per year.
